World's Softest® Socks Unisex Labeling

World's Softest Socks has changed the way they label and package their socks from Men's or Women's to Unisex. This has led to a lot of confusion for customers accustomed to ordering different World's Softest Socks of the same style for men and women. This will help explain...

The reason they did this was because there has never been a difference in the size or design... in any style... of World's Softest Socks labeled as men's or women's. This is confusing to some customers because there are some brands of socks where the design may be a little different between men's and women's. But this is not the case for World's Softest Socks.
For example...

• A Men's Medium Crew Sock is exactly the same sock as a Women's Medium Crew Sock. The Medium Crew Sock simply fits a certain range of men's shoe sizes and a different range of women's shoe sizes.
• The World's Softest Men's Crew Sock is no higher than their Women's Crew Sock. Both are the same... were manufactured at the same time but with different labeling.

So it makes perfect sense purposes of inventory control from the viewpoint of both the manufacturer and retailers to have common labeling.

To limit confusion I have prepared a Unisex label to put on the socks I ship that have the old labeling because there will be a transition period at World's Softest Socks whereby some inventory will be shipped using the old labeling and the new labeling. Seeing that label does not indicate you're anything but brand new socks purchased directly from Crescent. It just makes it easier for you to know you got what you ordered.

I left separate pages on the website for men's and women's socks for a particular style because it helps customers find what they're looking for. This is especially true if a customer is accustomed to different packaging for men's and women's socks. But I show both the Men's and Women's Sizes on all pages so you can conveniently order from the same page.

If you order the same style, color and size from the men's web page and the women's web page the quantity will accumulate under the same inventory item in your cart. If you've read this page this probably will not have happened or you'll already understand why it happened.
