I have had SEVERAL diaper bags in the last 14 months: backpack and a tote. This messenger style is by far the most practical. It's easy to carry around the mall, the park, wherever. The strap is adjustable and it has a comfortable shoulder pad. It also has a ton of compartments and organizational areas, including a cell phone zip pocket. There are side pockets that will fit a water bottle or a sippy cup (and its easy to remove them!).
I especially love the changing pad because its the right thickness and length and fits nicely in the bag. I can also pack this thing with a ton of stuff. It has an adjustable outer strap that will allow you to do so and keep your items secure. Plus it has a cute floral print.
