Yaktrax Warranty Replacements and Size Exchanges
Most stores place their emphasis on selling you Yaktrax. I place my emphasis on trying to keep you and your family safe. Once you've experienced the traction Yaktrax gives you on ice and packed snow you won't want to go a single day without them. That's smart because everyone knows attempting to walk just one day on ice without your Yaktrax can result in a serious, life-altering injury or even worse. Here's what I do to make sure you have your Yaktrax as quickly as possible and when you need them most...
  • I process and ship orders the same day they're received whenever possible... and make several shipping runs during the day to catch several outbound trucks... in the hope of getting your Yaktrax to you a day sooner.
  • You'll receive your Yaktrax in 2 or 3 mail days because I ship using fast USPS Priority Shipping.

  • I process my customers' Yaktrax 90-day Warranty claims and size exchanges because I can do it much faster than going through the manufacturer.
    • Processing warranty claims and size exchanges through the manufacturer can take up to two weeks. The Yaktrax people stand behind their product and are very cooperative and easy to deal with. But like most major companies the manufacturer requires that you return the broken pair or the pair that are the wrong size before processing the replacement or size exchange. Once received they'll enter an order to have a replacement pair sent out via UPS Ground. The entire process using the manufacturer can take up to 2 weeks to get a functioning pair or Yaktrax back to you which can seem like a lifetime if you're struggling to cope with icy conditions and avoid injuries.
    • You'll get your warranty replacement or size exchange within 2 or 3 days instead of up to two weeks because I immediately send you the replacement pair when you tell me you have a problem. I use the same fast USPS Priority Shipping to send out the replacement Yaktrax so that you're safe again in just 2 or 3 days instead of two weeks. Next to having a backup pair of Yaktrax...which isn't such a bad idea...I think it's one of the best deals you'll find for keeping you and your family safe this winter.
    • I will pay the freight for sending you replacement or different size Yaktrax. But I ask that you pay the freight for the returned product. This is the same practice used by the manufacturer. Some online dealers will pay the freight for returned product. But you'll soon realize that those dealers most often charge significantly more for the product in the first place to cover the cost. In my mind it is unfair to ask every customer to pay a premium for every item sold to cover the cost of return freight because if you follow the guidelines on the sizing charts and use the product as it is intended to be used returns are very infrequent and affect very few people.

You probably already know there is very little difference in the price of Yaktrax between most stores and of course I want to be the one to sell you Yaktrax or any other product I sell. I try to earn your business and customer loyalty by going the extra mile in supplying more and hopefully better useful information and the best possible customer service that continues long after the initial sale has been made.
