The easiest way to put on your Yaktrax Walker or Yaktrax Pro is sitting down.
There are Four Easy Steps...
- Step 1:
- Bring your foot over your knee. Make sure the Yaktrax label is facing out. Hook the front of your Yaktrax Walker over the toe of your shoe.
Step 2:
- Stretch to cover the sole of your shoe.
It's just that quick and simple. And because its quick and simple, never wear your Yaktrax Walker indoors! Yaktrax give unsurpassed traction on ice and snow but are very slippery on smooth dry floors like those found in supermarkets, drug stores, etc.

- Step 3:
- Securely fasten the heel tab to the back heel of your shoe.
- Step 4:
- Check both sides of your shoe to make sure the perimeter of the Yaktrax is securely over the sides of your shoes.
If you have the Yaktrax Pro you would now close the optional Velcro strap to secure your Yaktrax across the top of your shoe.
