  A five and ten minute pre alarm can be turned off with one button. The final alarm requires pressing three buttons at the same time which requires that you be awake to do it. • Screaming Meanie 220 has three volume settings:
   

  Low is 70 dB - slightly louder than a typical conversation and someone shouting. What you would expect from a regular alarm clock.

  Medium is 95 dB - as loud as being about 5 meters away from a pneumatic drill. Will wake most heavy sleepers.

  High is 120 dB is equivalent to being about 1 meter away from the speaker at a live rock concert. Will wake the heaviest sleepers.
