  Awakens deepest sleepers because it has three volume settings:
  

  Low is 70 dB - like a regular alarm clock.

  Medium is 95 dB - a very loud alarm that will wake most heavy sleepers.

  High is 120 dB is an extremely loud alarm that will wake the heaviest sleepers.

  
  Always use the lowest dB setting possible that works or is appropriate for the function you're using...be kind to your ears. Never place your Screaming Meanie next to your head at any dB level. Avoid prolonged exposure to 120 dB. If they even exist, I wouldn't recommend any device louder than 120 dB.
   
  A five and ten minute pre alarm can be turned off with one button. The final alarm requires pressing three buttons at the same time which requires that you be awake to do it.
