Almost all items sold on The-Perfect-Present.com qualify for the Order Volume Discount. But there are a few items that are excluded for the following reasons...
- There just isn't that much profit margin in the product to essentially give away.
- Some items with less margin are also heavy and therefore expensive to ship. Since I offer Free Shipping for all orders of just
$30 or more I have to be careful to at least make some profit. I love running the store but I won't be enjoying it for long if it's not profitable.
- Some products are absolutely not discountable to comply with the vendor's MAP agreement. Compliance assures you that warranties will be honored. It protects me so I'm assured that I can continue to sell a great product and furthermore it's the right thing to do.
I could avoid selling products that don't "fit the model" of products I should sell and for the most part I do. But my goal is to bring unique, extremely useful products for yourself and your friends and loved ones. And some of these products are just...pardon the cliche...just "too cool" to not to tell people about and sell on my store. And I also know that the prices I offer on those few items not included the Order Volume Discount are among the lowest if not the lowest prices available and fair.
