You go through a quick, simple setup to assign a unique number to each key finder. To find any other key finder you simply press that number on the FOFA Key Finder you're holding...it's that simple! If the item you're looking for is within 30 ft. the one you're looking for will sound a loud 94 dB audible alarm. With a 30 ft. range it doesn't take long to cover the entire house. What if the item she's looking for is in a heavy coat pocket or at the bottom of the hamper in the laundry? You're probably not going to hear the audio signal no matter how loud it is. But there's an LED light on the FOFA that you're using to locate the other item that may be buried that blinks when you're in that 30 ft. range. And as you get close to the item is blinks more regularly so you exactly where to look...exactly which cushions to look under. It's very well thought out and well-engineered.
