The FOFA Key Finder doesn't require a base station. Most wireless key finders have a base unit you can then use to locate other lost items. But you're out of luck if you can't find the base unit and often the key finder base unit is just as likely to be misplaced as the items you're trying to locate.

The Find One Find All (FOFA) Key Finder eliminates the base station because FOFAs have patented two-way communications so you can use any item with a FOFA Key Finder attached to find any other item with a FOFA key finder attached. FOFA appropriately stands for "Find One Find All". The chances that you won't be able to find any other item with a key finder attached is extremely unlikely.

• You can use your FOFA XD to keep all your important things just a touch away because you can control up to 36 different key finders from each FOFA key finder. Since every key finder can locate every other key finder there's no base unit to worry about...or lose!
• They won't add a lot of bulk or weight to the items you're locating because FOFA XD's are small and lightweight. The key chain key finder is just 2 ¾" x 1" x < ½" and weighs just ½ oz. and the flat wallet locator is just 2 ¾" x 2" x < ¼"... smaller than a credit card...and weighs only ¾ oz.
