| Place the FOFA you want to use like a base station at a place or on an object easiest for you to remember. It's mounted on a refrigerator above using Velcro™ so you can easily remove it to search for other items. |
Find One Find All Key Finders don't require a base station. Normally you would simply attach a FOFA key chain, flat or glasses finder to two or more items you want to be able to find. As long as you can find any of those items you can use it to find any other item with a FOFA Key Finder attached. This is a big advantage over key finders that require a base station because your key finder is useless anywhere but at home unless you remember to carry the base station with you.
But there may be some of you in special situations where finding any one of those items might be a problem for you.
The answer is then to use one FOFA Key Finder... usually a Flat FOFA... as a base station.
You simply attach it to a place you know you won't forget... like on the refrigerator door or bulletin board for example. You attach it with the Velcro™ square I provide for you so you can remove it to use to search for your other items. Depending on the size of your living area you may not have to remove it. You can even attach a list of the numbers you assigned to the other items on the door if remembering the numbers is a problem.
Another innovative customer used the base station concept by attaching a Flat FOFA to the dashboard of his car. He then has a convenient way to check that he has remembered to bring all his important things like his computer, wallet, briefcase and cell phone.
So you have the best of both world's by having a base station at a fixed location and still being able to use your key finder system anywhere you go. |
