Find One Find All Key Finder Instructions

Find One Find All Key Finders can be used to track up to 36 different items. To do that you set up as many as six Sets of six FOFA Key Finders. So Set #1 may be for Dad's FOFA and the things he's keeping track of. Mom might be using Set #2 for her things. So using the Set approach up to six different people can track their things separately.

The Default Set is Set #1. So for Set #1 you just follow the FOFA Quick Setup Instructions.

To assign a different Set to a FOFA Key Finder, simultaneously press the 1 and 2 keys for about three seconds. You keep holding the keys down until the LED light starts to blink continuously and you hear a warbling sound. Now your FOFA is expecting two things... the Set # and the Item # in that set. So you press a key... #2 to #6... to assign the Set # and then a second key to assign the Item # within that set.

You'll know you're successful because your FOFA will beep the number of times correspond to the Set # you assigned and then... after a short pause... beep the number of times corresponding to the Item # you've assigned.

You will need to re program your FOFA when you change batteries.

How to program a FOFA to be Item#3 in Set #2

So let's say we're ready to start setting up your second set of FOFA Key Finders and we're assigning Set #2 to this set.

Note: it doesn't have to be Set #2. It could be any unused Set # between 2 and 6. But for this example we're going to use Set #2.

Assume the FOFA we're setting up is for Mom's items and we're going to make her purse, the item we're going to attach this FOFA Key Finder to, is Item #3 in Set #2. (In case you're wondering I used Item #3 in this example instead of starting with 1 is because it will better illustrate how your FOFA confirms the information you have entered.)

Note: It doesn't have to be assigned Item #3. It can be any number between #1 and #6 not previously assigned to Set #2. But for this example we're using Item #3.

So as I mentioned earlier... press the 1 and 2 keys down simultaneously until the LED light blinks continuously and you hear the warbling sound. Release the 1 and 2 keys and then press #2... to assign Set #2 to the FOFA... and then press #1 to assign Item #1.

To add another item to Set #2 you go through the exact same procedure but this time use a different Item #.

Using FOFA Key Finders as luggage locators to find multiple pieces of luggage...

Use the Advanced Setup Instructions above. Assign the same FOFA Number to each FOFA Key Finder you attach to your luggage. That way when you press that number on the key finder you're holding it will find all the key finders attached to your luggage.
